Numbers 27 and 53 are 1949 Harley davidson WR's. They were factory racers from from that era. the motors are 45 cubic inch or 750 cc. The #53 motor is built with stock cases converted to work with the WR heads,cylinders and flywheels.  Both motors were built by the late Francis Clifford of Pacifica California, he passed away in July of 2006. Pretty much they are built as they would be raced in the forties except for we have aluminum rims with quick change sprockets and modern dirt track tires.
